Botanical Watercolour Workshop

A 4 hour workshop with a 30 min break. Cost is £65 per person and there are 16 places per session. Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire. Her original artwork and high quality Giclee prints feature creative watercolour techniques and embellished metallic details. Why not join us for this workshop and create your own work of art for your home? In this workshop you’ll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form decorative botanical floral designs in a colour palette of your choice. You’ll learn various watercolour techniques and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, inks details and accents of metallics. All material will be provided but please feel free to bring your favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists. Music in the Garden

Opportunity to relax and listen to The Watford Band in our lovely garden. Bring your own picnic and as there will be limited seating you are welcome to bring your own garden chairs. The Watford Band will be performing from 14:00-16.00 with a short interval. Mabel’s tea rooms will be running a Prosecco and Pimm’s bar and the Garden Cafe will be open for teas, coffees and sandwiches. Tickets : £10.00/adult, accompanied children free. Mosaic Mandala/Mirror Workshop

Come join mosaic artist Audrey Montet for a morning of mosaic designing. At the workshop you will create a garden mandala or garden mirror design suitable for both outdoors or indoors and will make a perfect addition to your home or garden decor. During the workshop you will be supported in creating a successful design and learn how to snip and place your tiles onto your chosen substrate selecting your tesserae from a large selection of shimmering and shiny glass mosaic tiles. Audrey will give a demonstration on how to grout during the session and you’ll go home with step by step instructions to complete the grouting process at home. This mosaic workshop makes a perfect morning enjoying the therapeutic benefits of creating a beautiful mosaic in a relaxed and welcoming session, suitable for beginners and those already experienced in mosaic making. All materials will be provided and should you not complete your tile work on the day you’ll be given all the necessary materials to take home with you with ongoing guidance from Audrey. Bushey Festival – Guided House Tour of Reveley Lodge

Opportunity to join a guided house tour of Reveley Lodge as part of Bushey Festival. Come and enjoy this unique property complete with it’s furniture and fittings and the stories that go with it. Artists’ Challenge

Halloween Fun
