This course is open to all abilities, 18 years and older. Teaching and support will be tailored to each individual’s capabilities to create a beautiful finished architectural watercolour painting.
Additional material, tasks and resources will be available and you will have the opportunity to dive as deep as you want.
In this course you will learn how to combine loose sketching and watercolour in a harmonious way. You will also look at the basics of linear perspective which will help you to understand open air sketching. Watercolour techniques, composition and colour scheme are some of the other elements that you will be focusing on and will give you the foundation to apply to the final piece.
The aim of the course is not about depicting exactly what you see but to convey the character and atmosphere of the moment.
At the end of the course there is the opportunity to display your artwork as part of a collective art exhibition at Reveley Lodge.
