Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire. Her original artwork and high quality Giclée prints feature creative watercolour techniques and embellished metallic details. Kate founded her business, Essoldo Design, in August 2020 and has sold pieces to over 30 countries across the globe and has successfully licensed her work in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her best-selling first book Creative Abstract Watercolor was published in Spring 2024 and her second Creative Abstract Mixed Media in October 2025. Abstract Pebbles Collage – Soak up the glorious colours of nature and learn to create your own striking abstract pebble collage. In this workshop you’ll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form decorative abstract pebble design in a colour palette of your choice. You’ll Learn various watercolour techniques and collage to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, inks details, and accents of metallics. You’ll use your own inspiration and Kate’s portfolio of abstract designs and patterns. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists.Tickets cost £70 per person

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday 4th April 10:30 – 13:00
Back by popular demand!
Hunt for loads of chocolate eggs in our two and a half acre garden (ages 4-12) and there is a separate easter egg scramble for age three and under. Come along with your home-made or home-decorated Easter Bonnet and enter our competition. There are refreshments and the children can make Easter crafts for their doting parents and grandparents (small extra charge). Meet the Easter bunny, try and catch some eggs fired from the Reveley trebuchet or take part in some garden games. Have your photo taken in our giant egg!

We are delighted to offer guided house tours of Reveley Lodge. You can enjoy this unique property complete with its furniture and fittings and the stories to go with it. For the early part of its life, Reveley Lodge has acted as a ‘Gentleman’s Cottage’ – a small country house easily reached at the weekend from the owner’s principal home in London – and latterly as the home of a Canadian artist, Albert Chewett, whose wife Eila bequeathed the house and garden to Bushey Museum. A midsummer summer garden party featuring an arts and crafts and plant market, garden games, guided tours of our rose garden in full bloom, live music from The Vintage Belles and Stuart Sidders and Friends plus home made teas and a bar.
