Floral Postage Stamps Watercolour Workshop – Friday, 21st November 2025 10:30 – 15:00
Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire. Her original artwork and high quality Giclée prints feature creative watercolour techniques and embellished metallic details. Kate founded her business, Essoldo Design, in August 2020 and has sold pieces to over 30 countries across the globe and has successfully licensed her work in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her First book, Creative Abstract Watercolor and second, Creative Abstract Mixed Media are out now.
Why not join us for a workshop and create your own work of art for your home?
In this workshop you’ll learn how to use watercolour techniques to form decorative botanical postage stamp designs inspired by the season (or your own favourite colours if you prefer!). You’ll learn various watercolour tips and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, inks details, and accents of metallics. You’ll use inspiration from nature and Kate’s own portfolio of floral botanical designs and patterns. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists.

Little Towns and Houses – Learn how to create simply geometric shapes and how to transform them into sweet little winter houses. You’ll create a watercolour artwork inspired by villages and towns, perhaps from imagination or from a favourite holiday destination. Add a starry sky and you’ll be armed with the tools to make your painting come alive! In this workshop you’ll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form decorative water colour designs in a colour palette of your choice. You’ll learn various techniques and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, inks details, and accents of metallics. You can use inspiration from your own imagination as well as Kate’s own portfolio of designs and patterns. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists.
