Underwater Worlds/Summer Seascapes Workshop

A 4 hour workshop with a 30 min break. Cost is £65 per person and there are 16 places per session. Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire. Her original artwork and high quality Giclee prints feature creative watercolour techniques and embellished metallic details. Kate founded her business, Essoldo Design, in August 2020 and has sold pieces to over 30 countries across the globe and has successfully licensed her work in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her first book Creative Abstract Watercolour was published in Spring 2024. Summer Seascapes – Delve into cool summer seas and learn to create dynamic watercolour artwork inspired by travel, from sea glass and shells, to underwater scenes packed with seaweed, coral and fish! In this workshop you’ll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form abstracts inspired by the sea – soak up the glorious colours of Summer while at Reveley and learn to create striking Seascapes shapes including Kate’s signature stripes, pebbles and blocks, in a colour palette of your choice. You’ll learn various watercolour techniques and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, ink details and accents of metallic. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists. Mosaic Wall and Table Art Design Workshop
Monday 9 September, 10:00-14:00
By popular demand, mosaic artist Audrey Montet will be at Reveley Lodge for a morning of mosaic designing. At the workshop you will create a wall and/or table art design suitable for both outdoors or indoors and will make a perfect addition to your home or garden decor. During the workshop you will be supported in creating a successful design and learn how to snip and place your tiles onto your chosen substrate selecting your tesserae from a large selection of shimmering and shiny glass mosaic tiles. Audrey will give a demonstration on how to grout during the session and you’ll go home with step by step instructions to complete the grouting process at home. This mosaic workshop makes a perfect morning enjoying the therapeutic benefits of creating a beautiful mosaic in a relaxed and welcoming session, suitable for beginners and those already experienced in mosaic making. All materials will be provided and should you not complete your tile work on the day you’ll be given all the necessary materials to take home with you with ongoing guidance from Audrey. Halloween Fun

Mosaic Wall and Table Art Design Workshop

A wonderful opportunity for you to start getting ready for Christmas by making a Mosaic Christmas Wreath and/or table decor, from an array of colourful glass and embellishments to create your own unique wreath to adorn your door this festive season. By popular demand, Audrey Montet will return to lead this mosaic workshop at Reveley Lodge, where you will be able to select from a range of wreath design templates or one of your own designs. Wreaths are 30 cm wide, providing you with a lovely space to get creative on and with a choice of double sided wide satin ribbon to complete your design with a bow, you are guaranteed to come away with a beautiful festive wreath that you’ll be proud to show off!
