Summer guided house tour SOLD OUT

We are delighted to offer guided house tours of Reveley Lodge. You can enjoy this unique property complete with its furniture and fittings and the stories to go with it. For the early part of its life, Reveley Lodge has acted as a ‘Gentleman’s Cottage’ – a small country house easily reached at the weekend from the owner’s principal home in London – and latterly as the home of a Canadian artist, Albert Chewett, whose wife Eila bequeathed the house and garden to Bushey Museum.

Summer Sunflowers Watercolour Workshop with Kate Leach
Friday 24th July 10:30 – 15:00
Learn to create a beautiful summer sunflower design inspired by nature – Soak up the glorious colours of the season and learn to create striking floral designs, one of Kate’s signatures motifs. In this workshop you’ll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form decorative abstract designs in a colour palette of your choice. You’ll learn various watercolour techniques and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, inks details, and accents of metallics. You’ll use own inspiration and Kate’s portfolio of floral/abstract designs and patterns. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists.
